The Outpost Lodge is Mountain River Ranch’s original building. It was established in 1985 as a convenience store and has evolved into a cozy cabin get-away. It accommodates up to seven guests, with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a gas fireplace. Free Wi-Fi. The Outpost Lodge is non-smoking. Reservations are required. No pets allowed in the lodge.

This log building, located at the front of the ranch, has beautiful vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors. The lodge has an open floor plan with a cozy gas fireplace. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, place settings for seven as well as utensils and cookware. It contains two restrooms, one with a tub/shower and one with shower. The spiral staircase leads guests to the loft where there are two twin beds. There is a dining area for seating as well as barstools at the kitchen counter. Great room has two couches, a 42” TV and Blu-ray player. The lodge accommodates up to seven guests with bedding, towels, soap and shampoo. In the summer months, enjoy deck seating and a BBQ. No pets allowed in the lodge.
The Outpost Lodge is not intended for large group gatherings. For family reunions, and large groups check out the Longhorn Cantina or the Pavilion.
